KidZone is the name and place of our Sunday morning children’s programming. Our staff and volunteers have a passion for kids to become disciples who “celebrate and share the good news that Jesus Christ changes lives forever!” Our goal is to provide fun and interactive programs tailored just for kids of all ages to help them know Jesus and grow spiritually as they build meaningful relationships with other children and adults. While they are in KidZone, you can join the Sunday morning worship service and know they are being cared for.

 

 

Nursery ,Ages 2-3, Ages 4-5 and Grades 1-6 will be dismissed for KidZone During the Morning Worship Service. You can fill out a registration form online or at the KidZone table when you arrive.

 

Here’s what to expect when visiting Lawson KidZone for the first time

First, find the KidZone table in the foyer under the sign New Families and KZ Sign in. There we will meet your family, hand you a registration form, sign in, and then one of our volunteers may be able to give you a tour of KidZone.

 

Before Service: You can sign your child in at the KZ table. Our service starts at 10:30am. If it’s your first time joining us, you can fill out registration form for your child (we have special ones for visitors).

During Service: Kids will be dismissed to their classrooms. Please take your child to their classroom, especially for younger kids and if you are new. After you drop them off, you can head back to the worship service.

After Service: You will head down to KZ and pick up your child at their room.

We have a special room set up on the left side of the sanctuary for parents of infants. There are comfortable chairs to nurse your child, a change table to change diapers, and volume control to hear the sermon and music. Talk to an usher if you need help finding the Parenting Room. Parents can also take their infants to the nursery when kids are dismissed to KidZone.

 

 

 

Pastor Tyler Rody joined the Lawson Heights Alliance Church leadership team in 2012 as the Pastor of Children and Youth Ministry. Pastor Tyler and his wife Michelle and four energetic young boys (Jari, Zeke, Micah and Isaac). They love sports, music, spending time with friends, the outdoors, and growing in faith together.

Each week kids have the opportunity to earn “KidZone coins” that they can redeem for prizes from our KidZone Rewards store. Kids can earn coins for attendance, bringing a friend, weekly memory verse and passage memorization.
