History repeats itself itself

Our family has had a lot of exciting developments and projects in the last few months. I was able to help lead a ministry conference in March, we put our house up for sale in April, participated in ordination meetings in May, and in June we have our youth group wind-up, Alliance General Assembly in Calgary, Soccer games and a tournament, Men’s Fishing Trip, KidZone wind-up as well as many birthday celebrations. It’s been a fun season and I’m looking forward to leading a Missions Trip on July 1st.
Here we are today, hoping and praying that God would sell our house, and the scenario feels kinda similar.
On June 22, 5 years ago, we finally received an offer to sell our house in Virden, Manitoba after a year on the market. Then, a storm blew through town, the pump station backed up and basements on our street were all filled with sewage on June 23 (Jari’s Birthday). So we quickly drove to Manitoba, cleaned it up, just in time for some over-land flooding. Then we cleaned it up again and God sold our house! All of this taking place two weeks before I led a team to on a short term missions trip.
So here we are, getting ready to head to Mexico City in July again, with a house for sale again, Jari’s Birthday again, and we’re trusting God again. And just as he provided a miracle and our house sold 5 years ago, we are anticipating his divine providence again.

2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
