SMALL GROUP CONNECTION EVENTS
A Small Group Connection is a one-time meeting at the church where people like you, wanting to connect with others and with God, get together to form small groups of 6-12 people.

Once connected, the members of your new group will decide where and when to meet the following week, according to your schedules.

These group commit to meeting for a period of 8 weeks only. After that you can decide whether you want to continue with your group or try again.

Every human being has three basic needs.

People are searching for something to BELIEVE . . . something on which to base their life to give it meaning and purpose. People are searching for a place to BELONG . . . where they feel comfortable "at home" and where they know someone cares about them. People are searching for something to BECOME and a safe place in which they can develop their full potential as a person.

But I have so many things to do ...
    So true, but consider this...

Christianity is a family thing--God never intended any Loners. We are urged to meet together to encourage one another to love and good deeds.
Small Groups are an ideal place to connect with people and to develop warm, caring, trusting relationships with a few other individuals.
Small Groups are an integral part of Lawson Heights Alliance Church's strategy to be a "caring, serving community . . . sharing the Good News and our very lives."
Small Groups are a place where people can participate in the learning and serving process; people have a chance to interact with each other in meaningful ways.
Thus, small groups are effective for building a caring Christian community, experiencing close fellowship, helping each other mature in Christ, and reaching out visibly and lovingly to the unsaved world around us.
The smaller size provides ample opportunity for more personal prayer for one another, and greater awareness and caring for people's needs.
